The Gaffney Ledger on the Opening of the Newest Gaffney Event Venue

From grandkids and cows to beautiful events and vines.

The Gaffney Ledger’s Abbie Sossamon recently reported on the opening of Gaffney’s newest event venue. It starts by sharing the couple’s dreams for their home and how those dreams evolved into the business venture it is today.

“I wanted a house for grandkids to be able to come to one day,” said Teresa Mason. “Robert wanted land and cows.”

Sossamon goes on to describe the recent ribbon cutting ceremony:

After tearfully reading a note from the original owner that was discovered after removing wallpaper, Teresa and Robert cut the ribbon to “Chateau Mason” this past Sunday. The note wished the new owners much happiness and enjoyment of the home.

In addition to weddings, the venue offers a unique setting for other events. Luncheons, showers, parties, fundraisers and meetings, to name a few. Teresa, a certified wedding planner, offers consultations, event design and decor rentals.

The owners also shared their future plans, including their plans of their own vintage.

They currently have 75 grape vines of Chambourcin, Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc, which should be ready to produce wine in a couple of years.

Teresa also has several of her own events planned in the upcoming months:

Teresa plans to host classes at the venue this fall including a belly dance class, cooking class, chalk paint class and floral arrangement class.
